Looking at the area he was in, I don't get it. Certainly doesn't look like an area to be driving fast. Maybe GT-R was just faster than he realized.

Quick note to self: Be very careful with throttle application on the new GT-R until you are well rehearsed with how GT-R will respond to said throttle application.

Sad...but...at least it looks like the crumple zones are working well. That new "pedestrian pop-up hood" is doing it's part too. smile.gif

Wonder where the headlights are? Did they just launch out of the front of the car?

I think the "plastic" is a bunch of popped airbags - the crash was clearly severe enough to set them off. As for the plate; perhaps this gets immediately removed after a crash in some places...

Indeed, and this was for sure not a 20 mph crash.

I like the look of the pop-up hood 'pedestrian' system... looks like it's working alright!! those hinges must fire their charge pretty hard!

That doesn't look too bad. He'll need a new nose...wonder if there was any damage to the engine. From what it looks like, probably not.

I hope that the car wasn't crashed by some delivery/importer guy.
