Well guys, my project was just finished. I did the video input via my ipod, and i also did the Nav bypass which allows you to control all the functions while driving. Here are a few pics of the video into the screen via ipod source. Also, i found out that the US-Spec GT-R's are not wired for the rear camera. But after doing this project i can easily add a rear camera without any problems.

Ok guys, here is the post i followed and it worked out great. When it gets to the colors/and plug diagram substitute them with the ones i have supplied.

Another thing is that out cars did not come with an aux plug like the one in japan. What I am going to for whoever wants video into their car like mine, i will make you a plug and play harness with oem nissan aux inputs. I have located a source for this and will be selling them for forum members here. Anyone intrested, pm me on this.

main wiring harnes of our cars. m81 is the plug you need to access. It plugs into the rear of the cd player unit.

here is the plug (m81) configuration. The wires you will need to locate terminal #36 (red) parking brake, and terminal #38 (violet) vehicle speed sens.

Remember that the instructions listed are for the nav and aux video hack. you dont have to do both if you dont want to. i choose to since i have a aux input port installed. Hi, PM Sent. I'm in for the aux kit. Just let me know when it's available.

Btw... For those of us who prefer not to mess with this. Would you or anyone you know be able to install? of course for a fee. There's a few of my friends who have ordered GTR's and we're all waiting for them. I'm sure they'd be interested as well. We're all from Miami as well.

Thanks Adry, i would be in for the AUX kit.. how do you switch the screen to show the AUX input?

Also it would be nice to install the rear camera at the same time... is this somthing you plan to set up as a kit as well?

Did you need a composite to RGB converter for the video, or did the nav take in the composite video from the iPod through a factory aux?
