Impressive wrap job, really like the flat black look on the GT-R.

It looks very stealth. Would like to learn more on how they achieved that matte black appearance. Does anyone have more details on the car or experience with matte finishes? It looks too clean for a wrap. How is the car kept clean and the paint cared for? What are the downsides of a matte finish?

If it is wrapped (which I have no reason to doubt) I would love to see some up-close pics of the quality. I've messed with applying vinyl and it's a pain if there is even a trace of dust underneath. A spec will look like a granual, especially when using black. As far as keeping it clean, if it's vinyl all it'll take is a quick wipe-down to clean it.

If the film is thin, then the protective abilities (rocks and road debris) are pretty worthless, but if it's the same thickness as the clear-bra wraps I would be impressed. The only issue with it being thicker though, are the seams would be very visible.

I'd like to know if there are any seams on the larger areas too (hood).

Regardless, this is my favorite R35 look hands-down. Now he just nees to get a set of the grey AVS F7's and the Eibach springs from Mines. smile.gif

DAMN DAMN DAMN, simply speachless...by far the sexist R35...I really want to paint mine this color, the sticker job would be too hard and more likely $$$ just as much as a paint job...

---ANYONE---know how hard it is to maintain this color if I paint the car to this scheme?!?!

If you use the matte clear (link on first page) the maintenance would be the same as any other paint job. Probably more forgiving though. smile.gif

Thanks! It was pretty rushed because I had to go see the new Hulk movie with a friend. You know...I realized something after watching that film and getting on the forums. The GT-R is the Hulk. It's bigger and sticks out of the crowd and it's performance and destructibility is nearly God-like. People try to duplicate the mechanics and they sure put up a good fight but there will always be the Hulk in the end...on top of the world.

What's a sticker job and what's wraping?

I guess I'll ask my bodyshop guys since my car is going in tomorrow for repairs.
