Excellent!!! I'm really surprised about the GT2. Porsche has a lot of catching-up to do.

nissan cant go wrong when its to hell with the GT2 and the GT-R is compared two a 560hp lambo thats three times the price. and this is only the begining.

where is the hype for the ZR-1?

"..I dare say that if Michael Schumacher were to find himself in the eye of an Arctic blizzard, escaping from an exploding volcano, he might discover 10% of this car's abilities. But you? Me? Here? Forget it. Nissan, then, has done something odd. It has built a car for a time and a place and a species that simply don't exist."

RWD cars was unlucky with the condition. They could have done better in dry, especially GT2.

didn't an R8 win this last year? Maybe they are just trying to mix it up.

As for the GT2, looks bleak for Porsche right now, but you can bet there are some Stuttgart engineers busting their tales to build a response to the GT-R. I can't wait to see what will be coming out in the next year or two now that Nissan has turned the performance world on its head.

I like that they commented on how the GT2 would have performed better in the dry with its R-compound tires... of course, then you have to wonder if the GT-R had R-compounds in the dry, how much further it would be ahead.

Yep, being a comparable performance-wise to a Lambo 560-4 for 1/3rd the price isn't too shabby. I guess what the GT-R is giving up is the exotic car looks and some of the presence. I can live with that.

I just recently saw a black Gumpert on Downtown Mainstreet Huntington Beach, Cali. It is a pretty impressive looking car. Then later that weekend out clubbing a White GT-R was seen there too. Alot of good sightings in HB. also saw a full naked Veilside Widebody Supra and a Carrera GT and an Enzo Ferrari from the Gumball 3000.
