the tranny is fine up to its rms load capacity. after that it has a max capacity that can handle around 90kgm of torque.

the tranny issues are all due to neglect and abuse.

Its funny cause people had a hard time thinking my car can toss a stock 997TT.. I have ran that same TT that is now modded with a GIAC ecu, and Tubi Race exhaust (no cats) and still there is a tossing that takes place...

Thanks for embedding the vid. The Cobb car sounded awesome. I wonder why Techart brought their car with less than optimal tires? Seems very odd.

Congrats due to Cobb, nice win.

I can't ignore that annoying high pitched sound that was present in the Techart segment, was that coming from the car? If so that is awful

Hey guys, that's the show I mentioned shooting last week. In the Porsche's defense, they didn't have fresh tires on the car, and they were lacking a full support crew. That car just came off the Bullrun and I don't think it was 100% ready for battle. That said, the COBB tuning GT-R sounded fantastic, and performed very well. You'll notice that it beat the GT-R times that Steve Millen posted in the GT-R around Willow Springs in Road and Track too. To make it even more interesting, Samuel Hubinette the driver had never been in a GT-R before either, so that was his first experience with the car and he still got a great time.

I'll post some pics of this match up in a sec...
