Hey,
Drive thru IS for driving through.  This is likely a time saver for those with wheels. And as my wife says- You DO get faster and better service in drive thru than if you park and stand in line (which is my tendency). I can't fault her for using the system. Just for her "choice" of eating establishments. However most fine dining lacks drive thru.
