2010 it looks like.

One wonders how these things happen...

Perhaps the driver was following the directions to the nearest ATM???

i feel such mixed emotions when i see pictures such as this:

1 - joy that my car is now worth a small amount more as it's now more rare
2 - sadness for the owner of the vehicle
3 - intense lulz (if lulz can be an emotion)

i mean, c'mon...just the title of the thread invokes lulz.

What a clutts! I keep thinking...how....how the...thats all I can manage [how].

"honey, take a left now ok...honey...HEY, take a left I said beech..." **brake** scrape...bump-smack-bank (oops bang) swerve, swooosh and woosh there we go!!!! "You DID say you needed to make a payment on the car, did'nt you".

That is classic...chap probably thought he was a race car driver, lost control (of course) as he tried to swerve a corner and then over compensated the steering and flew up the stairs to rightfully return the car to someone who KNOWS how to use it. Erm...which would'nt be the bank lol.

This explains the weird angle.

QUOTE
The old man I was talking to saw the whole thing.

The GTR was heading North on Vic and a blue Civic was heading south.
The Civic apparently turned left on 40th and cut the GTR off going North bound
The GTR lost control & nearly hit some pedestrians walking across, and then launched himself up the stairs where he Hit a mother and ejected her baby from her stroller standing near the bank doors.

Reference Post #28
http://www.revscene.net/forums/spotted-gtr...6.html?t=591796

The part about the mother and baby might not be accurate (according to police), presumably the mother and baby would have been inside the bank. However, the old man was standing outside according to the video interview so he may have seen the traffic issue better. Hard to say if the story about the Civic cutting the GT-R off is accurate, but speed had to be a factor for that kind of damage. If it were true, perhaps swerving to avoid the Civic might not have been a good idea. At least, the Civic would have been deemed at fault and no near-misses with pedestrians.
