Hello All,
As some of you may know my car sports a Switzer P800 package. I mostly road race this thing, but recently I worked with Switzer and we tuned the car to P850 settings. So I decided to drive down to a regional strip this after noon. 1st Run 10.8xx @ 141 MPH (please see picture below) NO LC USED 2nd back to back run 10.7xx @141 MPH (will have both slip scanned soon) NO LC USED Made few passes, got similar results. Car ran strong. No hick up, no nothing. I believe this car is capable of 9 secs, considering it ran a 10.7 and its still on all season tires. All in all, it was a fun afternoon. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nice! How were the A/S tires off the line? I'm not a dragger, but that seems like a high 60' time. Get that down around 1.6 and you might be in single digits.

it seems as though his 60' time is result of the non use of launch control not necessarily the tires. using lc2 would prob put that right down there.

Yeah Guys, I realize the 60' is crappy, but again, all season tries, couldn't do anything about it.
woohoo!!!!! First to break the 140mph barrier? I believe so. Nice! How were the A/S tires off the line? I'm not a dragger, but that seems like a high 60' time. Get that down around 1.6 and you might be in single digits. Good question. They aren't very sticky. Off the line it just spins and spins all 4 wheels. Car did feel all over the place in 1st 3 gears. -------------------- |

Congrats!!! I'll glady pass the torch on to you. All I can say is it's about time you got that monster down a real track!! Now get some DR's and use your LC 2 and you should be in the 9's for sure. Again, I think with better tires, I could have gotten into 9s. Car was all over the place in 1st three gears. I don't want to talk before I walk, but I do believe this car, as is, is capable of 9s with better rubber. -------------------- |

They aren't very sticky. Off the line it just spins and spins all 4 wheels. Car did feel all over the place in 1st 3 gears. This is very consistent with what I experienced with them on road course corners. I suspected this would be your answer. I would bet that even with the Dunlop summer tires and a better reaction time, hello 9's. Was this on race gas? congrats! i do belive you need 18's and drag radials like the rest of the guys (i think they used some sort of launch control tho).
p800 now p850? is that just more boost on pump gas? -------------------- Disclaimer : I am an internet mechanic and my posts are opinions unless otherwise backed up by links or what not.
