Hi everyone,

Since the inception of the new R35 GT-R, we've had the opportunity to work hands-on with many GT-Rs including our own. The last year+ has been very exciting. Compared to the platforms inception when many were skeptical to the R35 GT-R's reliability, general understanding of the platform as well as power expectations became an entirely different story.

Our R&D and general R35 related work here at AAM allowed us to first hand realize the potential of the GT-R platform. Through extensive R&D we've developed components which continue, time and time again, to prove themselves as powerful and reliable enhancements to the GT-R.

We've put together packages which will take your GT-R to the next level without sacrificing the drivability and integrity of the GT-R.

If any one has any questions, feel free to PM me or Mike@AAM, shoot us an email (ClintonM@alteredatmosphere.com or MikeM@alteredatmosphere.com) or give us a call at the shop.

yeah i know, its all about the tune, if you think about it it kind of makes sense because with stock car just a good custom tune is around 500whp on average, so once ur past that it makes sense.
main jump is because of their variable exhaust, which doesnt do much a/p but sounds great and adjusts, which is around $4,000
aswell theyre projections are quite low, without injectors im making around 560whp with their parts on a stock catback, just midpipe, downpipes and actuators, at around 17 psi

Huh... 29,900 for 700whp... huh.. i think the Switzer p800 is a better value? for 20,000 installed?

and then you have SPE for 18k installed 800hp...

seems alittle high to me.... mucho GTR tax..

you guys need to reprice your packages IMO...

I agree it is quite high, but thats an installed price compared to switzers uninstalled.
aswell with the switzer system, ur getting almost the same power, but you arent keeping the temps down and ensuring race after race reliability. With this your getting oil coolers to keep those temps down, along with a full fuel system with dual pumps and the hard pipes in the engine bay, and an evc,
also a full adjustable exhaust which you dont get with switzers,
a gtr's power is all based on how much psi you run, and with the extra cooling and fuel, you can run them harder with the same reliability
with AAM you can produce 650+whp on pump, with just injectors, downpipes, midpipe, any exhaust, actuators, and upgraded turbos.
KEEP IN MIND you are producing these numbers through CATS which is a key factor, all other packages with 800+ hp arent street legal

Switzer is installed and it includes free pick up and delivery all within 20k.

plus havent heard any switzer caused failures....so where the concerns for reliability?

anyways goodluck to AAM

the switzer package is much more compareable to lets say the gt750 package,
the only difference is instead of getting a front intercooler worth 3 grand, you get a adjustable exhaust and full exhaust system.
aswell the switzer p800 system is $18000 + shipping i believe
its pretty even.
you need to keep in mind that AAM keeps CAT's for you that need to pass e-tests while switzer deletes cats to produce same numbers

The switzer packages are well put together - IIRC though, the switzer 800 kit is approx 24,000 installed (from their invoice) and does not include a mid-pipe, 3.5" adj exhaust system or oil cooler. Also, I believe we are the only company offering a full fuel system in our package with new rails, lines, and in-tank assembly. The full exhaust, oil cooler and fuel system along with labor make up the difference. The GT800-R package is designed to support you well beyond the 750awhp mark.

Regardless, I don't want to get into a comparison match. There are many great options for GT-Rs. I believe that there is solid value built into our packages. smile.gif

I guess I have the AAM GT600R package and I can tell you that the hp they are quoting on these packages are very conservative numbers. I think the initial dyno run on my car was in excess of 570whp from baseline 420whp, then 550whp, then 540whp, and settled on 533whp because we felt that would be a good place to be running stock injectors. If i just get the 800 injectors, I should be easily over 560whp in my opinion.

yeah im a little mixture of the packages and 550+whp at 17 psi,
to hit 1000 whp i believe a haltech or some sort of piggy back ecu is going to be needed to delete the maf and other things.
i dont think the stock ecu with a cobb will be able to produce 1000whp or anywhere close, turn up the PSI

instead of modifying the stock ecu like a cobb, it takes over as the ecu to control everything, it deletes any sensors or restrictions with the stock ecu, like limp mode if you shoot over 23 psi

It blows my mind that 13k gets you 550awhp on the GTR, lol. Coming from audi we have to spend that much to get 500 hp at the CRANK (4.2L).

Actually a mid-pipe 675.00 dollars and the new RPM based tune gets you 540whp under 2500 bucks ...
but its nice to have a sweet exhaust , DP and make more power with less heat..

right i was thinking canadian. well a cobb is 1000 and a good tune almost the same, so yeah proven 550whp can be around 3 grand, but to ensure 550whp, u need d/ps so closer to 4000

At what level package would you recommend that transmission upgrades are necessary? All the AWHP in the world is not going to do you any good if you cannot put it to the road without trashing your tranny.
