he's not including the car. 1000 for AP, 500 for custom tune, 100 for drop in filters so 1600. then 1600 for PS2's that 10lbs per corner weight savings is a huge difference
so closer to 3k

This car was tuned on the dyno...not an E-Tune....so 2000.00 is more realistic....1k for the AP....another 1k for the dyno tune.... smile.gif

yes..1000 for AP and 500 Jacks Custom's tune.

not sure the tires are the reason he ran 10.92 .. his mph pulled him through into the 10sec.. and a nice 60ft time im sure

It is very unusual to have a negative DA in south Florida. The heat and humidity make for unfavorable DA for almost the entire year. Many tracks in the Northeast, Midwest, West, etc have much better DA on a regular basis.

That being said, we have better DA than what you seem to get at your altitude...

Also, interestingly my car in particular was absolutely NOT faster as the DA dropped from 700 mid day to negative whatever that night. My ET, 1/8, 60', MPH were insanely consistant all day and into the night. I have about 10 slips timestamped to prove this as well.

10.70 - 10.7xx @131.xx all day, and into the evening.

Congrats again to Fiske on a tremendous run, and Thanks again to Jack for tuning our cars so well..

The PS2 sizes are:

255/40-20
295/35-20

It's a 10 pound weight savings per tire over the stock tires.....

I was just looking at the Dragtimes, what ps2's does your car have? looks really good on the top end picking up almost 29mph

I agree the DA will help to a certain extent on a turbo car.. for example.. 700 DA and 100 DA wont make much of a diffrence as 3000 to 1000....

you ran 10.70 at 131+ thats VERY VERY impressive MPH and time for bolt ons!

Fiske , if you had run a1.7x 60ft time.. you would have been in 10.8x ... cheers.gif
