This guy is awesome. VERY reasonable and the car looks stunning. Sure I have never hired a detailer before so can't compare but I was with him about half the time and just thing he was very professional and great to work with. He is out of Dallas but has numerous clients in Houston and pays a visit on a regular basis. He made the trip just for me this past Saturday.

A quote from the detailer:
"At first when I saw this car on the internet before it was sold to the public I thought the design was ugly, but after working on it in and seeing it in person I can honestly say it truly is a unique design as well as beautiful and tastefully sculpted. Still a little bulky but looks great IMO. I was actually sad to see it go...."

Wow. Great Post.

I was looking for a detailed assessment of the paint and process for this vehicle. That thread definitely met that goal. Good information.

I was wondering what he used to treat the exhaust tips (stainless steel). I have noticed a bit of discoloration that has drizzled into the 2 interior facing tips on my car.

thanks.

Hmm I will have to get a reminder on that. He did say that the discoloration that gets burned in and can't be removed with other treatments can be removed with sme ultra fine steel wool (triple zero - 000 Y think?)

Great pictures! It looks like he really took his time as if it was his own car. Although he did say he would rather own a Z06. headshake.gif

"I will Dawn wash and clay every inch of the car including the glass."

Dish washing soap is way too potent, I suggest using something milder. Nevertheless, the end results look spectacular!
