If you look at the pictures of the seats it appears that it is easy to adjust the angle of the seat relative to the horizontal; you just need to move the seat to different installation holes. Otherwise it would be a seat designed for Italians only; (the arms completely outstretched look. lol).

They are fantastic looking seats and would be wonderful around town and on the track, I do wonder what they would feel like on a long journey though as the padding looks to be minimal. Would love to hear from owners of these re: long term comfort.

These seats look amazing.

my son say i have seat envy!

wow, these seats look stunning installed in the car. I'm skeptical about long term driving comfort, but short trips and track time I'm assuming would be fine.

I doubt I'd fit good though, 5' 10" (just like 90% of GTR owners lol), but 265lbs and a 38inch waist and a big ass (20years of bodybuilding and powerlifting will do that to ya irock.gif ).

Slip - great to hear you've got everything installed smile.gif. They look fabulous in your car and the RHD is badass! Long term comfort in these seats? Just don't wear a wallet back there and you're good....I've slept in them like a baby in 3+ hr car rides
Jason@BoulderNissan
Just got back in town and Eric has already installed these seats in our GT-R. I have not even had a chance to see them yet. I will let everyone know how I like them after I get a few weeks of driving (weather permitting) with the seats installed. Also looks like it saved about 81 pounds of weight including the brackets over the stock seats. Car gets the 6 point "cage" installed beginning on the 19th of this month. I will post up pics once the "cage" is finished. Really excited to see these seats in person and get some "seat time" smile.gif

81 lbs total.. or per side?? Makes sense i guess about 45 lbs savings per side. is what i guessed with brackets and all.

anyone selling stock seats?
Arsinek
Is that logo embroidered or is it printed? I think the logo might work if it was embroidered with black thread. I dont like the idea of having massive logos all over my car.

Heres my take

I drove up to Denver to sit in Jasons car (boulder nissan)

As Ive stated earlier Im 6'5" 240lbs I have more of a basketball build like a small power forward

I have around a 36-38" waist and im about 10% bodyfat

I do not have a big butt my wife always laughs and says i have no BUTT doh.gif

My legs are not chicken legs but are no Tom Platz either just a pretty normal size guy dimensions for a person my height. ( i hope that makes sense) in other words i dont have like huge legs, or huge butt, or huge hips etc etc

so back to the seats

I could get in the car, it was EXTREMELY TIGHT on my legs and hips as in so tight it was actually painful pressure wise on my legs and hips

The upper portion of the seat was very snug not painful but i fit by say .000001" it was so tight it actually made a suction to the rear of the seat so everytime i leaned fw it would actually form a suction around my back.

I drove the car for about 10-15 minutes and my legs were pretty sore after and my hips as well.

I would think i could only stand for say 20 minute lapping sessions with the seats no way at all for daily driving banghead.gif

I just wish they made the seats about 1-2" wider, there is plenty of room in the car for it

As far as the height goes i was fine i had about 1.5" of headroom and there was still more available to drop the seats lower, so with a helmet on i would have to drop the seat lower.

The angle was pretty decent but i like my seat more upright and the way the adjustments are set up if you drop the back down the front of the seat raises up and if you raise the back up the front will go down.

but i would say for the avg size person the seats will be very awesome.

the build quality was top notch

they looked amazing in the car

But for the larger size GT-R owners i would not personally drop the $$$$$ without a test fit

Thanks for the post Yano you have answered my question.I agree to bad they cant offer bigger version. Tim

Thanks Yano, sounds like my set (when they arrive) will be perfect for my frame. cheers.gif

So, Iīve finally installed the seat in my car. It looks like this:

Havenīt had a chance to drive the car yet since Iīm installing a P800 PKG irock.gif but will give more comments as soon as Iīve tried it. Just by sitting in it, Iīd have to agree that itīs extremely tight on the legs. Itīs also a bit too much leaned back. Iīd prefer to have it more upright. Iīve installed it so itīs at the lowest setting in the front and the highest in the rear.

Itīs very comfortable though and with the 4 point harness it feels like itīll be great at the track.

Mark you should order the rear seat deletes also and i'll buy your stock seats from you(they are black right). Or i'll split the rear seat deletes with you and i'll take your seats biggrin.gif (seriously). So you'd get half price rear seat deletes

Not necessarily ;). But just what are you trying to accomplish in the backseat?! LOL

These carbon fiber seats for the GT-R are becoming one of our best sellers.

How far forward can they slide? As Shahul had asked do they make the backseats unaccessible to say a child and a child seat???

They slide forward far enough to get a car seat into the rear seat.
First
None of you guys having issues with the SRS airbag lights? Or do you guys just ignore the light? lol
tantheman
There is a solution to resolve the airbag light warning but we have not explored it completely.

This week's batch of seats has already been reserved.
