Looks great guys. That looks like a Garrett core. Do you have pics of the fin density on the inside?

I will post up some pictures of the insides of the cores right before the final product release. This will be very shortly. These intercoolers are very fairly priced, and the final product will come polished.
We currently have 6 sets getting welded up. These 6 sets can be purchased by NAGTROC members (2299.00) until the end of the month.

is the idea of two cores better than one big one? seems like you miss the air flowing between the 2 cores.

It is better to have each side divided for the GTR. There are large one piece intercoolers on the market for the GTR, but they are divided down the middle for each turbo.

You don't want to share air flow between the 2 banks of the engine. This is a big performance coup that the VR38 has over many other engines.

SSP PERFORMANCE GTR UPGRADED INTERCOOLER TESTING:
SSP's NEW GTR Intercooler package is a direct replacement for the factory intercoolers. All of the factory hardware is retained, while being able to bolt directly to the stock intercooler piping.
We have finished with our testing of the stock cores vs. SSP upgraded intercooler cores.
Testing results:
Initial startup air intake temperature with air flowing to the stock intercooler cores was 70C, with air temperatures hovering at 12C. The air charge temperatures dropped to 33.5C on the dyno.
The NEW SSP GTR INTERCOOLER CORES, initial startup air intake temperatures with air flowing to the cores was 69C, with air temperatures hovering at 12C. The air charge temperatures dropped to 21C on the dyno.
All of this extra cooling resulted in horsepower gains of 17-21whp, between 4000-5000 RPM.
