No, Nissan hasn't treated us like shit. Dumb ass drivers who watch movies, drive fast, get into accidents, then sue the manufacturer is the reason why we don't Video for the front or all the other neat gadgets offered as standard outside the US.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but idk of any car from the factory that comes with a front seat dvd player. I think they are all customed installed aftermarket.

I agree with their decision as you shouldn't be watching tv while driving anyways, but I guess if you wanted to just listen to a dvd it maybe ok. If I were a car manufactuer that had to worry about getting sued for providing a dvd player for the driver I'd probably leave it out as well.

Anyways, if you want one that badly there is Adrey's aftermarket kit which I hear is great.

ive been in a merc s500 that had a front dvd player, only ran while stopped.
i just ordered a vid kit from adrey with nav bypass, should be recieving it soon

There is a new screen being tested/used that shows car data to the driver and anything else to the passenger. Dual view on the same screen depending on the angle you view it. Nice.

MF92 - That's cool Merc offers that option, I think its a good option since it only works when stopped, but im surepeople bypass it. Just drive safely cheers.gif

That's pretty neat. I'll have to check out the Range when we get ride of one of the Audi's.

yeah saw this on top gear..... seriously how does that work though? is it in essence like the same principle as those old hologram baseball cards and comic book covers that changed image based on the angle?
