Did you damage yours or just scratch it?

Just when I was leaving Jotech, some douche had let a small wooden ladder fly out of their pick-up. I was surrounded by traffic and my wife was right on my ass in the rental. I had just had the Eibachs put on the car and thought I might make it over it as I really had no other option. Well the car rode up over the damn ladder as it sits pretty low at the front now, and it damaged the front lip. It doesn't look too bad, and I know the lip can be sanded and re-painted, but I'm concerned that a lot of material will have to be sanded away and it won't look good. I am considering my options and may get the JDM Password carbon fibre lip if I can't get an OEM lip cheaper than I could get one from the 'stealer'.

what about just getting yours fixed and covering it up with stillen chin spoiler? it may be the cheapest way to fix and the most effective way protect your oem lip.

Yep, that's another option if I can't find an OEM lip. Thanks for the suggestion.
To be honest I'm trying to stop myself from buying the JDM Password lip. Must find a way to hide the box from the wife if I get it!! lol

Is the underside damaged at all? I have the Stillen chin spoiler and it'll be going over a brand new stock chin spoiler. I'm not concerned about the front of the stock chin spoiler. It would need to be painted but we could possibly work something out on a trade the new one I'm getting for yours if the underside isn't damaged.

Thanks to all re: the options you offered. This is a great board filled with awesome people.

I have decided to try the Synergyautoworks carbon fibre front lip which they are currently selling for $350!! WTH?

I'll let everyone know what I think of the quality when I receive it.

Well, how did it turn out? I've got a few scrapes due to steep driveway entrance and would be interested.
