Want to upgrade my pumps but the walbros require cutting baskets etc. are there any others on the market say like the hks ones that are straight drop in, no mod necessary?

does anyone know the flow rate of the hks one btw?

If you dont want to cut the basket, purchase new baskets to mod and drop the pumps in. Im going to upgrade my fuel pumps, im just waiting for more options other than Walbro

Guys the GTR has a unique enclosure for the OEM fuel pumps and would make it extremely difficult to "fit" any other high flowing fuel pumps inside it. Even with the small body of the Walbros, the basket had to be cut to allow it to fit inside....really not a big deal.

Also, the fuel pump enclosure (pictured on the right) sits in the tank like that, instead of vertical like what is found in older cars.

I seen phoenix auto Japan put some big RH9 pumps in. Not sure if modification was needed or not.

Factory fuel pump cage modifications are always a given for every single vehicle. It's how you fabricate them is the key. Only other options is for a manufacturer to produce a custom cage. which has been done. In due time since many are now upgrading their fuel system.

If I'm not mistaken AAM has a custom setup to fit larger pumps. Saw a pic once but can't remember where.

yeah that's right. don't want the entire system though, rails and regulator etc pointless for my goals. I'll do some digging and see if they'll sell the midofied basket bracket and pumps to me separately.
