Nice job Celsius,
It was fun watching your car historically be the most powerful stock turboed GT-R on Cobb/Surgeline's dyno today, that is, until mine goes on there with E85 in the tank...LOL
Can't wait until we hit Woodburn in a few weeks......it's gonna be a blast.

How was the ride home tonight? Did you get a chance to taste the powah???
celsius
Thanks Gotboost! I'm sure yours will make a bunch of power....Tim is the man!! cheers.gif

The ride home? I couldn't wait....I punched it right in the parking lot @ COBB/Surgeline lmfao.gif

To get a better idea of how much more power my car made from E85, here is my 92oct vs E85 comparison dyno graph.
dtectproject
Congrats man!

580hp/600lb-ft E85, stock turbo car...that thing's a BEAST icon28.gif

Hoping to get my car down to the coast sometime (this summer?) so that those guys can work some magic on my car.

Enjoy!
JoeCaMotto
Congrats!!!
gtrchillboy
Oh man that is a beast. Makes me want to experiment with e85. smile.gif Congrats.
celsius
Thanks fellas! cheers.gif I just wish our tracks here in the NW were more lenient with NHRA rules. PIR is open tonight, but as soon as I run under 11.5....banned for the year!

Sweet results!
only banned if you dont run some kind of cage right? can you get a bolt in cage that will be to the required spec? I think Sean Morris suggested that Bolt in cages are not that safe, but if you want to run without a cage i guess its better than nothing.

I was just thinking about running a PVC cage, just to get through tech doh.gif ......I know it's not safe...but, better to run @ the track then on the street. cheers.gif
Clint@AAM
irock.gif That's what I'm talking about! Not only did the car make a lot of power, but the graph looks great. 10s will be a cake walk.
DocNrock
Nice! Both GotBoost and Celcius.
Enthusiast73
wow, I'm not for sure, but this has got to be one of the highest HP GTR with stock turbos on a mustang dyno...right? is this done without aftermarket actuators? I have never seen any GTR make almost 500 ft/lbs of torque @ <2900 rpm! icon28.gif

where are the 1/4 time slips? new_cussing.gif
thistle
Attached is 700 lbft at 3150 RPM at 25 PSI on 94PON on Dyno Dynamics but with a flywheel estimate so not really comparable, but these tiny turbos can certainly spool up, although I feel it is too much boost for pump fuel the new extended load tables handled 18 to 25 PSI seamlessly with perfect fuelling and timing control. There was over 500 lbft from 2200 to 6350 RPM. At 7000 RPM the boost was 16 PSI. I'm sure with E85 more boost will make much more torque for you.

Anyway, my real reason for posting since you have quarter miles coming soon... what are your feelings on launch control?

I believe I have adjustable/custom launch control in my paws. It looks like launch control, it sounds like launch control and it smells like launch control, but needs testing, Tim will do so soon once Joe adds to the software.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm hatching plots to break your transmission!

At least if you're like the Dallas area you can get 93 octane. The best here is 91 dammit!!

Are you in medicine, btw?

SWEET!!!! I can't wait to do some testing.

Perhaps i should budget for a new first gear? How will that email look?

"Dear Trey,
In the interest of proper testing for Cobb Tuning i'd like for you to purchase a new first gear for our test GTR..........."

Ha HA, Tell him me need 3 sets, one for you, one for Celsius, and one for me!!!.....all in the name of research and development! lmfao.gif
Get that software calibrated before our Woodburn day. Consistent 3500 rpm launches I think would be perfect!

What to make a better first gear out of? Depleted uranium? Unobtainium?

Thistle, how soon can you get this into Tim's hands? We have a 1/4 mile day coming soon, and LC-2 is way too finicky.
thistle
Joe needs to get it into NIS AP 006 but is on the case.
gtrchillboy
This is so cool. Hopefully this can be done and tested by summer so we can all go nuts with the adjustable launch control. smile.gif

Thistle, how were you able to get 25psi jawdrop.gif out of the OEM turbos? Pls PM me....is that just from setting the WGDC to 100% across the board?

TIA!
thistle
80% WGDC with Forge actuators. Are you at 100% WGDC in the midrange on stock actuators?
celsius
I'm running the OEM actuators and I haven't looked at my datalogs yet doh.gif I'll let you know.

Thanks Thistle!!
