I was wondering if E85 is a possibility on a daily driven car? Also is it advisable to run E85 on a road course? Do most of the road courses have E85 pumps close to them?

Basically I was looking for as much info on E85 as I got gather to consider it for my daily driven car. I dont know what parts are required and if its feasible on a daily basis? Can one swap gas and E85 or a mix if you can not find an E85 pump when you need one? I am sure changing the map on Cobb after a fill must not be that bad if need be.

Also is E85 more smelly than gas if you get non catted downpipes?

Please advise.

Thanks

I was searching for E85 vs Gasoline and found this article on the topic done using a flex fuel tahoe.

Some points to note were that E85 was worse on gas mileage, worse in performance and same in CO2 emissions, then why do some people prefer E85 and also how does one get better performance in the GT-R with E85 over gas.

Hey to run e85, Ive done it in a few cars.

You need to first empty the tank as much as possible, fill with e85 and run more out (or just dump the tank completely
Upgrade your fuel pumps to atleast Walbro 255s
Upgrade your injectors to at least 880cc
Get your ECU tuned

should be good to go!
