This was one of my favorite mods and something the average owner can do in a couple of hours.

Labor took about 2 hours?

Can you hear it louder now?

Make any difference when you drive for power?

Did you weigh the stock parts vs the AAM kit version 1 (8 lbs?)
Titekster
Yes, labor is about 2 hours. After I "get-on-it" today, I will report back with power and 'ear-candy' gains!!!

Yeap, I did the labor on this one as well but mine is the Harmon Motive Intake. It is basically exactly the same thing...a pipe with a K&N in the bumper area.

i took mine out today after installing the aam intake over the winter and it is really loud! i love it. can hear turbo spool up loud and clear. i also have a race midpipe too. def worth the $

...ummm, Jon, I actually had to call on one of my Son's Boyz to complete the install - - I'm sheepish when it comes to working on the GT-R. I take that back...I applied all my CF overlays (does that count?) doh.gif

BTW, the word "complete" is not in our vocab, Chief...you ought to know that by now!!! irock.gif

Hahahahaha! Never complete with you sir!

I do believe that's what your son's buddies are for. and application of CF overlays officially qualifies you as a ASE certified GT-R Technician. Ask for a raise!

Cheers!
