my dealer purchased wheel and tire protection did not require that I go to any specific dealer, although the protection plan was not through Nissan (it was through Mercedes). I had to take it to a tire repair center and file a claim for the damages for reimbursement iirc. there were fine print about a lot of things, but sounds like your situation should be fine. sorry about the mishap, but good luck with it!

yeah, i believe my moms MB GL-550 has the tire package, and it is the same exact thing it covers like pot holes, dents stuff like that, but say curb rash from parking def not.

if it's wheel and tire, it will cover damage and cosmetic damage to the wheels and irreperable damage to the tires. at least that's how mine was.

I bought mine for 1299 and it has already replaced 3 tires for me. I do have a little curb scratch on one of them but they said it was not causing any problems with the driving condition ect so they wont replace the rim. Bought my car out of state. Replaced tires, the warranty is great they never ask a question just send you a check for $400 bucks every time i had to replace a tire
