These high performance catalytic converters (aka cats, high flows, catalyzers) are bolt in exhaust components that replace the catalytic converters. These can significantly increase exhaust flow improving performance. On a turbo car, such as the GT-R, hi flow catalytic converters help the turbos spool much quicker, thus reducing lag and increasing overall horsepower and torque output.
