Twin Turbochargers

The GT-R is force-fed air by twin IHI turbochargers, one per cylinder bank. The small turbos are responsible for the extremely quick spool rate and amazingly flat torque curve of the VR38DETT engine. The turbochargers are integrated with the exhaust manifolds so a simple turbo swap will not be possible without custom manifolds.
